About Me

Since you are on this page I am sure you probably already know that my name is Nick DeWitt, but just in case. Over the past seven years I have been the middle school PE/Health teacher at Lovell Middle School. During that time I was also the head high school wrestling coach, head middle school wrestling coach, and assistant/head middle school football coach.

Activity and sports have always been a passion of mine and this year I stepped into a different role in athletics. I am still teaching strength and conditioning along with a Lifetime PE course, but I am also the Athletic Director for the middle and high school. I love the sport of wrestling, but this new position allows me to work with athletes in all the different sports BGH2 has to offer. I am also fortunate to work with all of our activity programs the high school provides.

Background:
I am from Greybull, WY and graduated from Greybull High School. I attended Northwest Community College for two years before transferring to UW. While at UW completing my teacher certification, I was an equipment manager for the UW Football Team. This position allowed me to travel all around the country while still being around athletics. Teaching has not been my only profession though. I spent a couple of years at the Wyoming Boys School in Worland. I was an adjunct professor, admissions representative, and assistant wrestling coach at Northwest for two more years before coming to Lovell. When I am not working I enjoy camping and hunting.

I am excited for this new position and to work with the high school students both in the classroom and in their extra-curricular activities.
