LHS PROM - Theme: Corinthian Garden

Friday, April 27th - Grand March at the Hyart Theater starting at 9:15 PM (**Suggested $2.00 donations are welcome to help fund the after-prom party!) - Dance 10:00 PM - 12:30 AM at the high school. Admission is $8.00 a couple or $5.00 single.

PUBLIC MEETING

There will be a meeting for the public to give input on how to spend consolidated grant funds for the 2018-2019 school year. The meeting will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018, in the Lovell High School Conference Room at 3:45 PM.

Tech Alert

Parents, please continue to keep an eye on your students iPad use at home. We are seeing more students attempting to access sites that are either inappropriate or strictly for gaming. If you notice anything suspicious don’t hesitate to check your student’s browser history or contact our tech department at 548-6553.

Meals on School Trips

Due to state budget cuts to education, a 5% reduction to all school budgets took place this year. One affected area was meals provided by the school when students travel for extracurricular activities. When traveling within the Big Horn Basin, no meals will be provided by the district. Students on overnight trips will have to provide their first meal out and an additional meal. For longer overnight trips, pending how many trips that activity has a year, there may be more food the parent/guardian will need to provide. Coaches and activity sponsors have been asked to notify parents early in the week of food requirements. They will be including this on the itinerary sent home with students when traveling. However, students who do not have food or money for food on an activity will not go without. Coaches have been asked to provide this for those participants.
