April 30th Testing Day Information

Freshmen and Sophomores will be taking the WYTOPP. Students will report to their testing rooms before 8:00 AM. Please ensure that your students are in attendance, on time, and their iPads are fully charged.
It's essential to remember that this is still a regular school day. Attendance will be taken as usual.

Senior Trip Information

Seniors, get ready for an adrenaline-fueled adventure that will be a blast!
On April 30th you will be heading to Laurel, Montana, for an epic day of paintballing followed by a delicious lunch.
Seniors will report to the gymnasium for attendance and bus loading
8:00-9:30 AM Buses will depart for Laurel
9:30-11:30 AM Paintballing at Diamond Paintball
Lunch will be provided by LHS
After lunch, they will return to LHS and be dismissed for the day.
While they are in for a fun filled day of battling, it's essential to remember that this is still a regular school day. Attendance will be taken as usual. They should wear comfortable layers and old clothes that they don't mind getting dirty or stained with paint, closed-toe shoes, a hat or headband, and gloves for protection.

Land Navigation Training Information for Juniors and Parents

8:00-11:00 AM: Juniors will report to the gymnasium for attendance and kick start the day with a comprehensive session focusing on compass navigation and map reading techniques. Mastering these fundamentals is essential before they embark on a real-life navigational challenge. Once they’ve grasped the basics, it's time to put their newfound knowledge to the test!
11:00-11:40 AM: Lunch
11:45 AM-3:24 PM: Students will load onto buses for an adventure out to Cottonwood Canyon where they will put their skills to the test and experience a hands-on navigational challenge through the terrain to reach their destination.
While they are in for an exciting day of learning and adventure, it's essential to remember that this is still a regular school day. Attendance will be taken as usual. Dressing appropriately is key to ensuring comfort throughout the day. Since they will be transitioning from indoor to outdoor activities, layering up is advisable. Additionally, wearing sturdy shoes is suitable for varied terrain.
